Six Nations, England v France
Twickenham Stadium, 15th March 2009
England 34 – 10 France

The final weekend of the 2009 RBS Six Nations saw a rejuvenated England play host to an exciting France side at Twickenham, the Home of Rugby.
Inside our Official England v France Hospitality facility at Twickenham, the rugby-loving crowd enjoyed a champagne reception in the vibrant atmosphere of the restaurant. Guests later took their seats for a gourmet four course luncheon, during which the guest celebrity speaker gave his expert insight and analysis to guests before the England v France kick off.
Several complementary drinks later, guests made the short walk to take up their officially allocated grouped west stand seats for the match.

The view from the sidelines gave clients an unparalleled view of the magnificent Twickenham pitch, the ideal location from which to enjoy the final Six Nations match. The atmosphere inside Twickenham Stadium was electric as the teams marched out for the national anthems ahead of England v France.
After receiving heavy criticism for indiscipline in their previous performances, England set out to prove a point from the start. With barely a minute on the clock, Riki Flutey found himself in space in opposition territory running at the French defence. He ghosted past the French talisman Sebastian Chabal and cleverly disguised a pass inside to Mark Cueto who dived under the posts for a try, converted by Flood.

With the wind in their sails and the crowd behind them, quick ball from the line-out allowed Cueto to create space for Riki Flutey, who receive the offload race and raced home for England’s second try of the match.
Rather than resting on their laurels as they had done in previous matches, England went in for the kill and scored again after recycling the ball wide to Armitage to dive over on the left flank. To round off a stunning half of fast, effective rugby Joe Worsley also went over on the left after scrum-half Harry Ellis’s kick side the right side of the French line to take England into the break with a deserved 29-0 lead in the England v France match.
A rampant England picked up where they left off in the first half, when Delon Armitage hared off upfield, spotted Flutey, and fed him a precise pass to allow him an easy finish for try number five. The rapturous capacity crowd at Twickenham was in dreamland, and even though France managed two late consolation tries, England completed a famous victory on home soil against its fierce rivals.
The spirited atmosphere continued back at Twickenham’s England v France Hospitality facility after the match. Guests enjoyed the complementary bar and gourmet buffet whilst reliving all the thrills and spills of a pulsating match against Les Bleus.
Later in the evening the official corporate hospitality concluded, bringing an end to a fantastic day for England on the pitch, as well as a memorable corporate event for Hospitality Finder, providing clients with a unique Twickenham experience.
